UNCERTAINTY IS SCARY. I GET IT.

Facing the unknowns of your life and feeling fear?

Join the club.

I’ve been there many, many times. Relationships. Breakups. Divorce. Deaths. Career. Moving to another country. Am still facing it now.

As much as I want to believe I have “the answer”, the reality is the unknown is *literally* not known. And as humans, we try to control it to cope.

What I do know is resisting change and holding onto our old self is futile. Like a snake that sheds its skin, we also need to be willing to let something go so we can step into what is waiting for us. Even if it’s scary.

We will cycle through many versions of who we are in life. We are always dying, grieving, and being reborn. A microcosm of the grander Big Unknown for all of us. Since there’s nothing we can “do” about it, we get to discover how we want to “be” with it.

The first medicine for fear is curiosity.

🌱 What is it that you’re really fearing?
🌱 What could fear teach you?
🌱 Who could you become? Who do you WANT to be?

The second medicine for fear is love.

In the emotion of fear we meet all our “stuff”. The stuff we wish was different. The stuff we beat ourselves up for. The stuff getting in the way of compassion and acceptance.

THAT stuff needs some love. ❤️

I invite you to view the unknown as a blank canvas. The canvas doesn’t create the painting. The woman holding the brush does. 🥰

And that’s you, brave queen! 👑

What do you want to create?
